Jim Hirschauer, President
Jim was a Senior Auditor for Arthur Andersen & Co.,
at the time the world's largest accounting firm, before
forming James Hirschauer & Co. Additionally, he was the
Financial Operations Officer for a closely-held, consolidated
company headquartered in northeast Ohio, with several outlets
in Ohio and Pennsylvania. He has been a lecturer and
instructor of accounting, taxes, auditing, and finance in the
undergraduate and MBA programs at several universities
in Ohio including Kent State University, Lake Erie College,
and Cuyahoga Community College. He has spoken at numerous
small business workshops and seminars and to various other
groups on accounting, tax, and management concerns of small
business and individuals, including the Small Business Administration. He has
been a guest expert on several major radio networks in Ohio
on current tax and finance issues. He has been published in
several Ohio newspapers and national periodicals
including the Cleveland Plain Dealer, Crain's Cleveland
Business, Accounting Today, Corporate Cleveland, the
Independent Dealer, the COSE Update Magazine, and the Small
Business News on management, tax, and financial topics of
importance to small business and individuals.
